How to Select Marble Cutting Blades
Marble cutting blades use diamond abrasive and a metal bond to cut stone efficiently while limiting edge damage. Continuous-rim blades generally create cleaner cuts on tiles and thin slabs, while segmented or turbo designs improve cooling and debris removal during faster, deeper work. Match the blade diameter, rim or segment design, bond hardness, arbor size, and maximum speed to the saw and the marble thickness.
Confirm that the blade rotation matches the marked direction and that the arbor, flange, and guard are correctly installed. Stable cutting equipment, adequate water flow for wet cutting, controlled feed pressure, and a straight cutting path reduce overheating, glazing, vibration, and chipping. Inspect the rim for cracks, missing segments, or uneven wear before use. Correct selection and operation improve safety, edge quality, productivity, and service life in diamond blade applications.
