To extend the service life of the pickup engraving knife, there is no need to frequently replace the tool. Daily use and maintenance should be done well, and one knife can be used twice as long, suitable for all pickup engraving machine users.
The first standard for installing knives is to strictly control the extension length of the blade head at 0.8-1.2mm. If the extension is too long, it is easy to break the blade and scrape through the bottom paper, and if the extension is too short, it cannot cut through the material. The second is to adjust the machine pressure reasonably. The larger the angle of the engraving knife, the smaller the required engraving pressure. Do not blindly increase the pressure of thick and large angle knives to avoid damage to the blade.
For the third category, use cutting tools separately for thin and thick materials. Do not use sharp knives to cut thick reflective films to prevent direct breakage of the blade tip. The fourth regular cleaning and maintenance, after cutting stickers with a lot of glue, promptly clean the residual glue stains on the blade to avoid the glue corroding the blade and affecting its sharpness. Idle cutting tools should be stored in a moisture-proof manner to avoid collisions with the blades. A few simple steps can ensure perfect cutting effect and significantly save store consumables expenses.
